What We're Looking For:

  • Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication / Mechanical or equivalent.
  • Proven, hands-on experience as a Line Borer/Machinist, specifically reclaiming bores and faces on heavy mining equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi).
  • Demonstrated expertise in bore welding, face welding, crack testing, gouging, and repair of welds.
  • Strong understanding and application of precision measurement and quality assurance techniques for bores and faces.
  • Experience with bearing setup, alignment, and fitting new bushes (including liquid nitrogen techniques).
  • High Risk Work Licences - Forklift, Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain).
  • HR Class Manual Driver's License.
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
