About The Opportunity

Join our Parks and Natural Areas team and help maintain and enhance the beauty and functionality of Bundaberg's parks, gardens, cemeteries, reserves, and streetscapes. As a Plant Operator/Labourer, you'll play a hands-on role in creating safe, vibrant outdoor spaces for our community. From operating machinery to horticultural care, your work will directly support the health and enjoyment of our public environments.

About You


  • We're looking for someone who:


  • Has extensive experience in horticulture, landscaping, and parks maintenance.
  • Holds a current Class C Driver's Licence and Construction Industry Safety Induction.
  • Can operate and maintain a range of plant and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Works well in a team and communicates clearly and respectfully.
  • Is committed to safety, reliability, and contributing to community wellbeing.

Mandatory:

  • Construction industry General Safety induction card
  • Driver's Licence Class'C, (SpecialVehicle endorsement - Class'UD'& Class 'MR'or 'HR'is desirable).

Desirable:

  • Certificate ll or higher in a Horticultural related field
  • Chainsaw Ticket and Herbicide Operator Ticket (AC/DC)
