Stuttgart Autos are currently seeking an experienced technician & Or Appretice to join our busy Service & Autobody department. In this critically important role, you will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager with the 'day to day' running of the Service department whilst upholding a strong passion for delivering exceptional service.  Your major responsibilities will include:

  • Giving technical support to Technicians & Apprentices as and when required, teaching best practice Mercedes-Benz techniques & procedures.
  • Maximising service department profitability through effective staff controls and feedback.
  • Acting as a liaison between, management and the workshop to ensure vehicles are repaired and serviced in line with customer expectations.
  • Supporting & coaching technicians & apprentices and giving constructive feedback as required.
  • Ensuring workshop cleanliness and high safety levels are maintained at all times, and
  • Displaying professionalism when managing concerns while maintaining and unwavering commitment to MBAuP policies and procedures.
  • Ability to assess accident damaged vehicles and work out best practice repair procedures.

Mercedes Benz/European vehicle experience is preferred (though not essential)

To be successful in this role you will have sound technical automotive experience, preferably gained from within a retail environment as well as exceptional product knowledge and diagnostic ability.  You will be able to demonstrate leadership potential and the ability to manage time frames in a pressurised environment towards the successful completion of duties. It is essential that you have a recognised mechanical or electrical trade qualification. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, display sound time management and organisational skills combined with a strong customer focus.  If you feel suitably qualified to apply for this position, please submit your cover letter and resume attention Dealer Principal.
