Enrolled Nurse - Full Time

Lerwin is an 80-bed residential home owned and operated by the Rural City of Murray Bridge. Lerwin has been serving the community of Murray Bridge and surrounding areas and enjoys an enviable reputation for its 40 plus years of high-quality care and services.

Lerwin is currently recruiting Enrolled Nurses to join its clinical care team. The successful candidate will join the Rural City of Murray Bridge which is one of the fastest growing regional centres in Australia. The Enrolled Nurse will work in consultation with the wider Clinical Team and care staff to provide high quality care outcomes for residents and their representatives through professional, evidence-based practice. The successful applicants will have the necessary qualifications and registration as well as demonstrated skills and experience in working with older people.

The duties will include the following:

  • Supervision of Personal Care Workers
  • Medication administration in line with EN scope of practice
  • Wound Management in line with EN scope of practice
  • Other clinical interventions under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Documentation in clinical management system.

Successful applicants will demonstrate

  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work semi-autonomously.
  • 2 years minimum nursing experience post-registration, preferably in residential or community aged care.

And will be able to provide evidence of:

  • Unrestricted work entitlements
  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Covid Vaccination (min 3) preferred
  • Seasonal Influenza preferred
