About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Occupational Therapist within our Palliative Care department.

In this role, you will provide specialised occupational therapy services to palliative care patients, helping them maintain dignity, comfort and quality of life. This role offers the perfect opportunity to develop your expertise in palliative care while maintaining work-life balance through part-time hours.

In this role you will:

• conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and environmental needs
• develop and implement individualised treatment plans focused on comfort and independence
• provide equipment recommendations and home modifications to enhance safety and accessibility
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals
• support families and carers through education and training

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
