About the Role

  • Architect and implement a Playwright automation framework from scratch.
  • Design automated test coverage for user access scenarios (RBAC) within a surgical planning web app.
  • Validate visibility of UI elements based on user roles, permissions, and feature flags.
  • Collaborate with devs, QA, and business analysts to understand role configurations and access rules.
  • Create readable, maintainable tests with strong reporting and integration hooks.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines to run tests in various environments.
  • Establish best practices, documentation, and code quality standards.

About You

  • 5+ years in test automation with a strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch (preferably with Playwright).
  • Deep understanding of RBAC testing and user permission scenarios.
  • Experience testing SPAs or complex web apps.
  • Familiarity with feature flag-driven development and UI conditionals.
  • CI/CD integration experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills — you'll be working closely with a cross-functional, remote team.
