We're looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive success.

Role Overview

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store. You'll lead and motivate your team, ensure operational excellence, and drive performance across sales, food safety, and customer experience. This role is hands-on and requires a strong leader who can balance people management with operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sandwich Artists and Shift Leaders
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues quickly and effectively
• Manage staff rosters, recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training
• Ensure compliance with Subway's operational standards, policies, and food safety requirements
• Monitor store performance, including sales targets, labour costs, and inventory control
• Complete daily checklists, weekly reporting, and store audits
• Oversee cash handling and banking procedures
• Drive local store marketing initiatives and community engagement
• Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Subway values

What We're Looking For

• Previous management experience in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail
• Minimum 6 months of management experience required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage, train, and develop a team
• A hands-on approach with a focus on customer service and operational excellence
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
• Knowledge of food safety, WH&S, and cash handling procedures
• Australian work rights required for this position
