About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

Youang Surgical Centre Level 1 - DOSA provides care for patients undergoing Elective surgery at Barwon Health; patients are admitted prior to surgery and then discharged the same day.

About the role

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide patient-focused, holistic nursing care, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes in the perioperative setting. As an Enrolled Nurse, your practice will lead to excellence in patient care. You are required to understand the importance of establishing a therapeutic relationship between yourself and the patient to enable best possible outcomes. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible under the direction of a Registered Nurse, working collaboratively to establish and evaluate plans of care.
