About the role
With recent natural disasters, flooding and extensive vegetation clearing, there's a surge of upcoming work in the Taree region. Now is the perfect time to join our team and make a meaningful impact while working in the incredible Taree and Forster region.
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Worker – Labourer to join the Operations, People and Safety team based in Yass. This role does not require an electrical qualification/trade.
The Electrical Worker assists in the installation, construction, and maintenance of energy distribution, utility, and telecommunication infrastructure.
Responsibilities include operating vehicles and equipment, delivering resources, providing customer service, and ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures and regulations. This role also involves participating in audits and safety processes, conducting basic in-service testing and inspections, and applying safety and environmental training.

About You
You are an experienced professional in the energy and utility sectors, skilled in working with overhead, underground, distribution, transmission, gas, water or telecommunication infrastructures.
You have a strong understanding of safety and environmental requirements and proven experience operating relevant vehicles and equipment. You excel in team environments, possess basic computer skills, and have good written and verbal communication abilities. You are committed to continuous learning and applying safety and environmental standards in all tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Enterprise Skill Sets at the AQF 2 level or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and relevant qualifications.
- Driver's License.
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate.
- Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry, and business-required licenses, authorisations, and other certificates necessary for the role.
