Experienced Medical Receptionist Stirk Medical Group, located in High Wycombe, requires a part time medical receptionist to join our friendly team of professionals.

This important front desk role is representing the clinic, being the first point of contact for patients and providing admin support for the practice.

The successful applicants will need to be able to handle an busy office environment, have a friendly and approachable manner, work well within a team and able to start at 7.45am and finish pm Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (plus relief work).

Your duties will include:

  • Answering & managing a extremely busy phone system
  • Managing appointment book
  • Billing/EFTPOS
  • Handling doctors requests
  • Handling patients requests
  • Updating the patient database
  • Handling correspondence
  • General office duties
  • Ensure all patients are treated with empathy and respect

Required:

  • Be the person that patients remember Welcoming, helpful and attentive
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for customer service
  • Organisational skills
  • Positive Attitude
  • Ability to multi task
  • Own transport for multi-locations
  • Able to work between 7.45am and 6pm and school holidays
  • Maintain strict confidentiality policies

Desirable:

  • Experience in Best Practice medical software
  • Knowledge of Medicare
  • Minimum 2 year front office/reception experience
  • Ability to help cover sick and annual leave

The position is approximately 21 hours (3 days a week) with set hours.
