Parts Interpreter

Have you wondered what it would like to work for a family business who cares for it's employees? Would you appreciate a decent work life balance where you can enjoy time with your family, and still have a challenging and rewarding position? Would you like the option of working a 9.5 day fortnight increasing your own time without sacrificing wages? Do you take pride in providing customers with exceptional service? Are you ready to take your place in a growing business? If you think the above suit you, please continue reading.
Mako Services requires an experienced parts interpreter to join our team in our Busselton office. We are an industrial equipment service company originally specialising in forklifts, but we cover a growing range of Industrial equipment, access & earthmoving equipment, Hiabs, small trucks and varied hydraulic equipment. The role is suited to someone who would like some variety in their job, and is willing to challenge themselves. The position will require someone willing to learn to work with a variety of equipment and suppliers to service our broad customer base.
Prior parts interpreting experience is essential, and experience with industrial equipment would be ideal but not essential, as specific on the job training will be provided. The role will be different to an "automotive" parts interpreter role where you will likely be doing less interpreting yourself, but working with our varied suppliers to find solutions. You will be required to have great customer service skills, as you will regularly be in contact with our customer base.
Position Responsibilities will include:
- Parts interpreting and identification direct with customers or with the service team
 - Data entry including supplier and customer invoices, inventory management, purchase orders and quotes.
 - Work with suppliers both OEM and aftermarket to ensure Mako Services customers receive required parts in the best possible time frames whilst monitoring quality of parts provided.
 - Ordering, receivals and warehousing of parts as required
 - Inventory control including re-stocking of inventory items, restock of field service vehicles and monitoring / adjustment of inventory variations.
 - Continue the ongoing development of the parts and service department, improving our systems to ensure our parts and inventory systems provide the best possible outcomes for our team and its customers.

Requirements for the position:
- Knowledge of industrial equipment advantageous
 - Manual C Class Driver's License (HR license beneficial)
 - Forklift License advantageous (Training provided if needed)
 - Understanding of parts management processes
 - Ability to read and interpret exploded parts diagrams
 - Sound computer skills
 - Excellent communication skills
 - Ability to work in a dynamic environment requiring regular shifts in priorities

We will provide you a workplace that is rewarding and challenging. We value our work culture, and ensure that we get the best from all of our team. Wages will be competitive and is dependent on skills and experience.
