Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a permanent full-time Sketch Designer to join our dynamic team to work closely with our Sales Department.
This role is ideal for someone who has a minimum of three years residential drafting experience with exposure to design, who wishes to step up into a full-time sketch role.
The Role:
- Producing Archicad sketches for our Senior Design Consultants by following their write-up
- Liaising with internal departments and external parties to overcome design and construction issues
- Providing advice and guidance to our Senior Design Consultants on design issues or suggestions on how to improve design
- Designing our premium display home product
About You:
- Certificate IV in Residential Drafting or Diploma of Building Design and Technology
- Sound Archicad skills
- Minimum 3 years Perth based experience in residential drafting with a project home builder
- High level of construction knowledge with a thorough understanding of R-Codes and NCC requirements
- Creative flair with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines when required
- Sound communication skills, good time management and problem solving ability
- A positive and friendly manner
- A strong team player with a solid work ethic
