About the role
Le Gassick Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumber to join our dynamic team, based in Moorabbin but have an upcoming project in the city of Geelong, also working on various construction projects across Melbourne. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the company's mission to provide industry-leading Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services to our diverse client base.
What you'll be doing
- Performing installation, of commercial and residential apartment developments air conditioning and ventilation systems
- Take lead on site and co-ordinate small to large projects from start to finish.
- Using organisation and problem solving skills to conduct installations in a timely and safe manor.
- Collaborating with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate efficient workflow.
- Maintaining accurate records, completing documentation, and providing detailed progress reports.
- Leading and teaching team members to the best of your ability.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment
What we're looking for
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Plumbing.
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience as a Mechanical Plumber in the air conditioning industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
