Associated Furnishers (QLD) Ltd is seeking a fulltime MR Manual truck driver/warehouse worker to work with our team based at Loganholme.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver to transport companies within the Greater Brisbane area
  • Load and Unload furniture in the company truck
  • Ensure all loads are secured safely
  • Unload shipping containers
  • Pick orders
  • General warehouse duties
  • Assisting with Bi-Annual Furniture Shows
  • Any additional duties deemed suitable by the Warehouse Supervisor

Skills/Competencies

  • Must have minimum Manual MR Truck Licence
  • Desirable - 10 speed Splitter Box experience
  • Desirable - Forklift (LF) and Picker (LO) Licence
  • Beneficial - Experience with New Furniture
  • Physically Fit
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Adhere to the Drug and Alcohol policy
  • Full Australian working rights

This position is full time, Monday to Friday and offers long term job security. Immediate start preferred.
