Job Summary
We are seeking a Principal Architect to lead the architecture for our next-generation Sales & Acquisition ecosystem in the healthcare benefits space. This strategic leader will define domain, application, and data architectures that power omnichannel engagement, broker enablement, and direct-to-consumer experiences. The role focuses on building cloud-native, scalable, and secure platforms that leverage modern data strategies, advanced analytics, and AI-driven capabilities to optimize acquisition, retention, and broker workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Define and evolve end-to-end architecture across sales, acquisition, retention, broker portals, and DTC applications. Establish principles for cloud-native microservices, API-first design, and event-driven integration.

- Domain & Application Architecture:
Design modular, reusable services for lead generation, customer engagement, consent management, and conversion optimization.

- Data Strategy & Integration:
Develop data architecture for real-time analytics, CDPs, and data lakes to enable predictive modeling, campaign performance tracking, and actionable sales insights. Ensure interoperability with enterprise platforms and compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations.

- Innovation & Modernization:
Introduce AI/ML capabilities, including generative AI for content, management and automation frameworks for marketing and sales workflows. Evaluate emerging technologies for broker enablement, self-service portals, and omnichannel orchestration.

- Governance & Standards:
Lead architectural governance, design reviews, and roadmap planning to ensure technical integrity and alignment with enterprise & system level architecture. Champion security, privacy, and regulatory compliance across all solutions.

Required Qualifications
- 12+ years in software architecture with expertise across domain, application, and data layers.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare sales and acquisition workflows, and digital engagement platforms.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills; able to influence across business and technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI/ML models, real-time analytics, and data-driven decisioning into enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud strategies, serverless architectures, and API management platforms.
- Background in healthcare benefits, sales enablement, or customer acquisition systems.
- Certifications: AWS/Azure Architect, TOGAF, SAFe, or equivalent.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
