Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Wahroonga Community Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients by providing expert nursing care and support in alignment with NDIS guidelines.

Rate: $60-$80 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments for clients with disabilities.

  • Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.

  • Monitor and evaluate the health status of clients, making necessary adjustments to care plans.

  • Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding their health needs.

  • Ensure compliance with NDIS regulations and documentation requirements.

  • Collaborate with support workers and other healthcare professionals to optimize client outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.

  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

  • A commitment to delivering person-centered care and promoting client independence.

  • Knowledge of NDIS policies and procedures is a plus.
