Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Wahroonga Community Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients by providing expert nursing care and support in alignment with NDIS guidelines.
Rate: $60-$80 per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments for clients with disabilities.
Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and evaluate the health status of clients, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding their health needs.
Ensure compliance with NDIS regulations and documentation requirements.
Collaborate with support workers and other healthcare professionals to optimize client outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to delivering person-centered care and promoting client independence.
Knowledge of NDIS policies and procedures is a plus.
