This role is based in Chinchilla, QLD.

As an Operations Manager, you'll take charge of the day-to-day operations of our bustling venue, overseeing bar, restaurant, accommodation and entertainment offerings. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll work closely with the Venue Manager, gaining the skills and experience to one day step into a Venue Manager position within our growing hospitality group. What You'll Do

  • Lead with Impact: Oversee the daily operations of our venue, ensuring that every aspect of service—whether in the bar, restaurant, or accommodation—is of the highest standard.
  • Inspire and Motivate Your Team: Manage, mentor, and develop a dedicated team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional service.
  • Enhance Guest Experiences: Be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring that all their needs are met and any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Drive Operational Efficiency: Oversee staffing, scheduling, and inventory management while keeping an eye on budgets and financial performance.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety: Maintain a safe, welcoming environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and venue policies.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • RMLV: Required to ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
  • Approved Manager's License: Necessary for managing licensed areas and ensuring the legal operation of the venue.
  • RSA: Essential for serving alcohol responsibly.
  • RSG: Required to oversee gambling activities.
  • CLO Certification: Important for managing customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
