We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Officer/Handyperson to join our dynamic team to help support our North Adelaide and CBD properties. As a Maintenance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities and equipment are kept in pristine condition, delivering an exceptional experience to our guests.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager & the Maintenance Leading Hand, you'll use your strong maintenance and gardening skills to help keep our properties looking their best. You'll be confident working independently, while also contributing to a supportive and dedicated team that values high standards, dependability, and a strong sense of teamwork.

A little about us

Majestic Hotels is South Australia's largest locally owned boutique accommodation group, proudly managing six properties across Adelaide and Regional South Australia. We pride ourselves on being a close-knit team, and we're looking for someone who'll fit right in and contribute to a positive and collaborative culture.

About the role

· Perform routine maintenance tasks across the hotel, including minor plumbing, electrical and general repairs

· Respond to guest requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly

· Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions

· Monitor and maintain machinery and systems

· Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations

· Cleaning common area floor coverings, multilevel windows and tiled floor areas

· Maintain garden areas

About you

· Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role

· Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

· Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset

· Relevant certifications (e.g.) electrical or plumbing) are a plus

· Physically fit – good physical fitness and strength

· A current driver's licence

· A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
