We are currently seeking a reliable and versatile Maintenance and Gardening Officer to join our passionate team on a part-time basis. This is a rewarding and hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe, welcoming, and well-presented environments for our residents and community clients.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for general maintenance tasks across our facilities and client homes—with a strong focus on gardening, home and yard maintenance. From mowing lawns and pruning hedges to performing minor repairs and improvements, your work will help create clean, safe, and vibrant spaces for those we support.

The role requires good maintenance skills, a dedication to making a difference and the ability to complete tasks under deadlines while doing this with a smile and a customer-focused approach.

Our maintenance officers are a friendly face for our residents, and community clients and deliver special and lasting experiences. As such, you must be personable and committed to providing quality work and an excellent experience for our residents and community clients.

We're looking for someone who combines practical skills with a passion for outdoor work. In this role, you'll need:

• Solid experience with both general maintenance and gardening duties

• A proactive, customer-focused approach with a positive attitude

• Strong time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

• A friendly and approachable demeanor

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Lawn mowing, edging, pruning, and garden bed maintenance

• Rubbish removal and tidying of outdoor areas

• General property upkeep including minor repairs, painting, and safety checks

• Reporting maintenance concerns and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
