Construction Safety & Compliance Inspector. IMMEDIATE START

AuditCo (The Australian Auditing Company Pty Ltd) is an established auditing and inspection company based in NSW, delivering audit and inspection projects for clients nationally and internationally.

To service a major contract, AuditCo is looking for a full-time Construction Safety & Compliance Inspector to complete construction and remediation site safety inspections and associates safety and risk work for sites across Greater Sydney. We are looking for someone who can manage their own time and work to a prescribed job schedule.

This role will be critical to meeting our clients' needs across a number of major safety management scopes, including:

  • Completing Site Safety Inspections and Compliance Audits
  • Auditing Existing WHS Systems
  • Development of Safety Management Documents and Processes
  • Incident Investigations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certifications or qualifications related to building inspection or construction are beneficial. As a minimum, Diploma in OHS/WHS is preferred, also qualifications in Construction, Construction Management, Construction Safety preferred.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and practices
  • Ability to identify defects, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication for documenting findings and reporting to relevant parties
  • Ability to analyse construction plans, specifications, and reports
  • Accuracy in inspections and documentation
  • Ability to identify and address issues during construction
  • Relevant experience in construction or related fields - 10+ years in commercial construction

This is a full-time role and an attractive salary package with company vehicle is available.
