Estate Caretaker

Location: Cheltenham, VIC 3192

Salary: $40,000 p.a. plus entitlements

Reporting to: Owners Corporation Committee of Management

We're seeking a hands-on, reliable Part-Time Caretaker (20 hours) to maintain and present the estate's common areas, gardens, and recreational facilities to a high standard. You'll work independently but in close communication with the Owners Corporation Committee, ensuring our estate remains safe, functional, and welcoming.

What you'll do

-Carry out minor repairs and maintenance on common property

• Maintain gardens, lawns, and irrigation systems

• Clean and check the recreation hall, swimming pool, and courts

• Keep roads, paths, carparks, and lighting in good order

• Oversee contractors for specialised works

• Attend monthly Committee meetings and provide regular reports

What you'll bring

-Practical handyman and gardening skills

-Ability to work independently and manage time well

• Good communication and record-keeping skills

• Willingness to take direction and work collaboratively

• Knowledge of pool maintenance (advantageous, but training can be provided)
