The Star Brisbane is looking for a
Chief Concierge
to join the team.

The Star Brisbane is Australia's newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen's Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

As Chief Concierge, you will lead the Concierge and Bell Desk operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. You will play a pivotal role in upholding service excellence and operational efficiency across our Concierge Desk, Bell Desk, and Porte Cochere.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations and administration of the Concierge Desk, Bell Desk, and Porte Cochere.
• Lead and inspire a team of 30-40 team members, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide guests with accurate and engaging information on property facilities, services, local attractions, transportation options, and events.
• Collaborate closely with the Limousine Company, Butlers, VIP Services, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams to deliver a smooth, high-standard arrival and departure experience.
• Develop and implement service standards, best practices, and operational procedures to continually elevate the guest experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records and reports.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as an Assistant or Chief Concierge in a luxury or five-star property is highly desirable.
• Diploma in Hospitality or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• In-depth knowledge of Brisbane CBD and surrounding areas, including local attractions, dining, and events.
