About the Role

Cherubs Childcare is seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD. This part-time role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, guiding their early learning and development while working in a supportive and family-friendly environment.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 0–5 years
  • Implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities and programs to support children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development
  • Documenting children's progress and collaborating with families to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For
  • Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently working towards)
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare or early learning setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Creativity and enthusiasm to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive care and education
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Working with Children Check
  • Trainees are also encouraged to apply – traineeships are available through Kath Dickson, with a trainer visiting monthly
