CNC Machinist/Operator

Tali Engineering is a structural steel fabrication and erection specialist company based in Wingfield South Australia.

We currently have a permanent position available for an experienced steel processing CNC beamline operator (38 hour week with overtime available) to join our team.

Primary Duties and responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a variety of CNC machine tools to cut, drill and finish components as per quality requirements

• Inspect CNC machinery is in good working condition before and after setup

• Examining the first article produced to ensure quality

• Reading and working to engineered drawings

• Attention to quality, safety and details

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• A Trade Certificate

• Physically able to operate a CNC Machine

• Withstand prolonged periods of standing

• A focus on exceeding customer expectations and desire to live our values to drive an outstanding company culture

• A commitment to the company and the role

• Reliable

The ideal candidate will have previous experience:

• Using CNC controls

• Working with structural steel (preferred but not essential - we are willing to train).

• Familiar with working in a manufacturing environment

• Reliable transport and current driver's license

• Material handling (forklift / overhead crane) will be an advantage.
