The Role
We are seeking a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Nutritional Planner and Cook to join our dedicated Early Years team in providing a supportive environment for the wellbeing of young children in care.
As our Nutritional Planner and Cook you will be based at the Helen Jessen Early Learning Centre in Kennington where free parking is available. You will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, catering and providing nutritious snacks and meals on a daily basis will be in charge of the kitchen.
In this position you are required for 25 hours per week and work from 8.30am - 1.30pm on Monday - Friday (no weekend work required). The start time can be negotiated, if required.
You will have knowledge of the requirements of class 1 food premises and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework.
About You
As the successful applicant will have sound knowledge of menu planning, including excellent knowledge of allergies, seasonal foods and hygiene standards and practices.
If you hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or willingness to obtain) and have extensive experience in menu planning and providing nutritional meals, we welcome your application.
A satisfactory police records check and employee Working with Children Check is required for this position.
