With over 25 years' experience in the water industry, Pumps & Irrigation is an established family business, with a focus for developing cost effective and sustainable water solutions.

We offer comprehensive services encompassing system design, installation, and maintenance. We specialise in a wide range of pump and irrigation solutions for agricultural, industrial, commercial, and domestic applications.

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our team on a full-time/part-time/casual basis at our Maryborough & Hervey Bay sites.

You will be responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of irrigation systems and programs as well as handling a variety of enquiries relating to irrigation & water products in domestic and rural environments.

Duties include:

  • Opening & closing store
  • First point of contact for phone calls & walk in clients
  • Handle sales email enquiries to the store
  • Assisting clients with product selection for pumping & irrigation
  • Procuring goods & arranging freight
  • Showroom presentation
  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems and its components.
  • Assembling irrigation products in preparation for installation
  • Identifying and troubleshooting any issues with the pumps and irrigation systems, and implementing corrective actions
  • Fill out daily paperwork as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite.

About you:

  • Basic or extensive irrigation experience.
  • Knowledge of large commercial irrigation systems experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to work flexibly, including occasional weekend and after-hours calls
  • Plumbing and/or Electrical License
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving traits
  • Good attention to detail with regard to presentation & professionalism
  • Sound knowledge of computer-based apps & Microsoft 365 programs
  • Be available to travel to sites.
