What you'll be doing
The Senior Quick Response and Weekend Physiotherapist is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing quality physiotherapy services to patients/ clients of the SNSW Local Health District in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs, providing the right care at the right time and in the right place.
Selection Criteria
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Extensive broad generalist knowledge, clinical proficiency and ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload across a regional area.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrated ability to lead planning and evaluation of team activities with demonstrated ability to provide and coordinate staff and student supervision.
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
- Current unrestricted drivers' license and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
