The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established nursing team on a full-time or part-time basis.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

• Provide evidenced based nursing care
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

The Department

Our 22 bed Acute Medical Ward recruit's nurses with strong clinical skills to join our dedicated team. Our patient presentations are primarily acute general medical, respiratory and cardiology. We also provide end of life care needs.
 

What you'll need to succeed

Essential qualities:

• Current Registration with AHPRA - Enrolled Nurse
• Experience as an Enrolled nurse of 2+ years
• Sound clinical decision making and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Practices with a patient centred care approach
• Works well independently and within a team
• Intermediate computer skills

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in an acute Medical ward (respiratory and cardiac nursing preferred)

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $35.43-$38.54 per hour.
