The Business

A mid tier accounting practice with numerous smaller offices around regional Victoria, head office sits in Dandenong. A well developed and incentivised internal referral program to the wealth management advisors ensures a steady flow of new clients. Clients range from a 'mum and dad' to some of the wealthier families in Australia and senior execs with listed businesses. They are now looking for two financial advisors due to the current advisors being at capacity.

The Role

Reporting into the national Head of Advice, you will work with a team of advisors and associates in the head office, but will be required to service some regional offices on a monthly basis. Paraplanning in centralised in another city. You will be supported with a client services team. Building relationships internally with accountants is needed, but the referrals are constant and there is a group of clients also to be serviced. SMSFs are the norm and the business uses the better platforms in the industry. Flexible working arrangements are supported.

Your Skills and Experience

You are an experienced financial advisor and are on the register - you hold all the right qualifications. However there is a need for two new advisors and the business will consider a range of types of advisors - be it only 2 or 3 years of experience, to many years of experience. They will also consider advisors who are retention or farmer types to those who are more hunter/closer style.

These roles have a sound remuneration structure - a good base with a nice bonus with reasonable KPIs.
