The Opportunity
Ready to shape the future of transport infrastructure? As a Civil Engineer specialising in Bridges, Roads & Structures, you'll provide technical expertise while managing small to medium transport projects. You'll craft high-quality reports, drive project success, and be part of an innovative, client-focused team.

This role is based in WSP's Cairns office with flexible work style arrangements available.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver excellence in safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ).
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver smarter solutions.
  • Elevate client satisfaction through proactive problem-solving.
  • Apply industry best practices and ensure design compliance.
  • Create detailed technical reports and engineering drawings.
  • Review and enhance engineering designs and project documents.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Support business growth through bid and tender preparation.

What You'll Bring

  • A degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience in transport infrastructure (multidisciplinary project experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of QLD TMR standards.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform technical analysis.
  • Skilled in using engineering software and preparing technical reports.
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for quality.
