About the role
Become part of the housekeeping team at The Cambridge, a leading hospitality and tourism provider located in the vibrant town of Kununurra, Western Australia. In this full-time Commercial House Keeper role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our hotel rooms, public areas and guest facilities.
What you'll be doing
- Thoroughly clean and prepare hotel rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and restocking amenities
- Ensure public areas such as the lobby, corridors, and common spaces are kept tidy and presentable at all times
- Assist with the laundry, including washing, drying, and folding of linens and towels
- Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic and assist colleagues as needed
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a commercial housekeeping or hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
- Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
