Purpose:

To lead and coordinate the implementation of Council's biosecurity initiatives, focusing on the management of invasive animals and plants, community education, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with the Biosecurity Act 2014. This role supports sustainable land management practices by fostering collaboration with landholders, stakeholders, and internal teams to mitigate biosecurity risks and promote environmental health within the Maranoa region.

Position Details and Benefits:

  • Permanent, Full-Time Position hours per week
  • Maranoa Regional Council Certified Agreement Stream A - Level 7
  • Maranoa Locality Allowance - $72.00per fortnight
