The Role

Century Slabs, a subsidiary of The Makaan Builders, is seeking a skilled Concreter Formworker Finisher to join our growing team. You'll be working on projects across the South West and North West of Sydney, preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete for a variety of residential and commercial builds.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Measure, cut, assemble, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures
  • Mix, pour, and finish concrete to meet project specifications
  • Apply curing compounds and sealants to completed concrete surfaces
  • Operate power tools and equipment such as concrete mixers, vibrators, and trowels
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site

Special Requirement

Experience with waffle pod slabs from start to finish is essential. Applicants must have complete knowledge of waffle pod slab construction, including formwork, steel work, pouring, and finishing.

Availability from Monday to Saturday is required.


What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Concreter Formworker Finisher in the construction industry
  • Strong practical skills in concrete preparation, pouring, and finishing
  • Proven ability to construct and complete waffle pod slabs from start to finish
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Familiarity with the use of power tools and concrete finishing equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
