GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

Provide on-site support to the customer in overseeing, administering and optimising PLEXSYS products for use on training systems. Engage with Military Instructors and customers to present realistic training environments across Virtual and Constructive mediums to support the training objectives of the customer. Perform analysis to determine system viability and accuracy; correct, log and report issues so corrective measures can be conducted. Assist with coordinating and de-conflicting training events and schedules so the training objectives programmed for the system can be achieved.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support the execution of training scenarios across the Virtual and Constructive environments to meet training requirements.  
  • Deliver operational effects as a Simulation Environment Specialist.   
  • Assist with scenario development.  
  • Integrate scenario changes and updates as requested by the customer. 
  • Integrate updates to simulation databases for use in simulators. 
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with Executive staff, and Tech leads to support training requirements. 
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with the Training support office to assist in training of their personnel on PLEXSYS product capabilities and functionality. 
  • Monitor a training Program schedule to ensure adequate resources are available to support and perform all required and scheduled training events. 
  • Support the Senior Simulation Environment Specialist and Training Manager.  
  • Support accurate and timely debriefing via reconstruction of training events using integrated systems. 
  • Support the customer as a Synthetic Systems operators when needed. 
  • Provide familiarisation training to customers in the operation of PLEXSYS products. 
  • Assist with providing training to operators on the PLEXSYS suite of software.   
  • Assist the transfer of data to support software changes and facility security requirements. 
  • Other tasking and duties as assigned. 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Ability to use and configure PLEXSYS software highly desirable. 
  • Experience serving in a simulation role-playing position highly desirable. 
  • 2 to 4 years of military experience in Aerospace Command and Control is desirable. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is desirable. 
  • Experience in Managing and Operating Synthetic systems is highly desirable. 
  • Experience with networking and network configuration is desirable. 
  • Minimum Security: NV1
