About the role

We are seeking an Oceania Export Officer to join our dynamic team at PIL Australia Pty Ltd, based in Southbank, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in our Import/Export operations, supporting our business in the Oceania region.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining & updating spot & contract pricing
  • Market analysis & compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Tracking margin performance
  • Coordinating container flow out of Australia & New Zealand ports
  • Monitoring vessel schedules, bookings and inventory levels
  • Supporting sales teams with space & container allocations

What we're looking for

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of cost structures and carrier operations
  • Understanding of liner shipping, freight markets, and Australia / New Zealand – Asia trade an advantage
  • Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems proactively
  • Willing to travel when required
