As the Deputy Principal, you will play a key role in advancing the Department's vision by leading initiatives that improve student outcomes, strengthen teaching practices, and foster a positive and inclusive school culture. Working alongside a committed and collaborative leadership team, you will help shape and implement the strategic direction of Rochedale South State School. Responsibilities include:
As a 0.4 Deputy Principal, your instructional leadership will include (but not limited to) sharing the following responsibilities:
- Leading our Prep - Year 2 cohorts - staff, students and families
- Planned and enacted Australian Curriculum with continued implementation of the P-6 RSSS Literacy Strategy
- Continued implementation of P-6 strategies for student engagement and belonging, including student agency and inquiry learning
- Set the conditions for collaboration to make evidence-informed teaching and learning decisions; capability development through targeted professional learning
- Establish systemic methods to collect evidence and monitor impact of student achievement
