Citipointe Christian College is seeking a full-time fundraising officer to join our team. In this role, you'll work with internal teams and external partners to coordinate fundraising efforts from event logistics to donor care.

Mandatory Criteria:

  • A vibrant Christian faith in line with Citipointe's statement of faith.
  • Exemplary conduct that serves as an inspiration to students.
  • Comprehensive understanding and strict adherence to Child Safe Standards and Student Duty of Care.
  • A valid Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card) or the ability to secure one before starting.

Desirable

  • Experience working in school environments or previous fundraising experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and execute College fundraising activities, including events, campaigns, payroll giving, the annual College Day of Giving, bequests, legacies, appeals, and major gifts
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive records, budgets, and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the daily operations of fundraising events, including handling enquiries, coordinating with external suppliers and agencies, and overseeing event communication with support from the Events and Community Officer
  • Foster and strengthen positive relationships within the College community, acting as the primary relationship officer for fundraising.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance donor engagement
  • Analyse College data to identify and define opportunities for donations

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion, particularly when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Excellent organisational and strategic planning, and coordination skills, with the ability to demonstrate flexibility and manage demanding or competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency in technological tools and platforms
  • Knowledge in marketing and communications, including the ability to prepare mass communications and create effective campaign messaging for fundraising.
