We are looking for Food and Beverage supervisor to join our team.
The role of a supervisor involves the sale or service of pre-prepared or freshly prepared food items, use of the cash register, freshly prepared coffee and cold drinks this may include acholic drinks, Supervision of team members, delegation of tasks, achieving sales targets, completing food safety requirements general cleaning is another key task. Manual scrubbing and washing and cleaning are required. Previous experience in a busy cafe, coffee shop or cafeteria is preferred.
- Plan production based on sales projection
- Prepare ingredients for day's trade.
- Prepare and service of breakfast when required.
- Wash dishes when required.
- Set up outlet as required
- Ensure ingredients and equipment are at the correct temperature
- Stock merchandise counter and display prior to service
- Restock food ingredients during service
- Clean and sanitise bench, tables, Fridges, ensuring correct storage of all food items
- To ensure that the outlet opening and closing procedures are adhered to by all staff so that the next shift can operate smoothly.
- To ensure that the outlet opens and closes in accordance with the contractual obligations that Spotless have with its landlords.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
