What's the role? 

We are seeking Multi-Combination (MC) Drivers with Front-End Loader (FEL) experience to join the well-established Qube team within the Northwest region for our Port Hedland Dampier Salt operations. These are full-time, fly-in/fly-out floating positions, that will see operators rotate between operating triple road train belly-dumpers and front-end loaders to transport & manoeuvre salt.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have: 

  • Current MC Licence
  • Current FEL operating ticket/s
  • Minimum of 12 months prior experience operating double combinations
  • Minimum of 12 months prior experience operating Front End Loaders – CAT 980/Komatsu WA 500 or similar
  • Prior experience operating road trains
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other operators
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed 
  • Good knowledge of load restraint guidelines
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • A positive attitude towards the transport industry
