What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Maintain, test, inspect and repair fire detection and suppression systems in line with Australian Standards, Defence requirements and manufacturer specifications

  • Complete scheduled maintenance activities and respond to corrective maintenance tasks

  • Ensure all records and test results are completed accurately and entered into systems 

  • Liaise with Defence representatives regarding system status, maintenance requirements and outages

  • Ensure compliance with essential service maintenance requirements and certification processes

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate III in Fire Systems Testing and Inspections

  • FPAS Accreditation (NSW) 

  • Industry experience in fire systems inspection, testing, maintenance and repair

  • Ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required)

  • Current Open Driver's Licence.

  • Fire Protection Accreditation (FPAA) (desirable)
