About the Role
You will assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based therapy to participants with communication and swallowing challenges. You'll work with children, young people, and adults with autism, intellectual and physical disabilities, and complex needs, supporting them to achieve their communication goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualised therapy plans
- Providing ongoing speech, language, and swallowing therapy
- Educating families and caregivers to support communication outcomes
- Maintaining detailed participant records and progress reports
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team under the NDIS framework
- Ensuring safe, ethical, and person-centred service delivery
About You
You are a compassionate, experienced clinician who thrives on achieving positive results for participants. You have strong communication skills, initiative, and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (CPSP status)
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (NDIS experience preferred)
- A strict minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience is required for this position
- Excellent time management and interpersonal communication
- Current Driver's Licence, NDIS Worker Screening, and First Aid/CPR
Desirable:
- Experience with complex or dual diagnoses
- Knowledge of NDIS processes and collaborative multidisciplinary practice
