About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Handyperson to support our Building Manager in delivering general maintenance and handyman services across our prestigious beachfront residential high-rise.

You will join a small but dynamic team dedicated to responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring the highest level of care and attention expected within a luxury property. This role includes weekend and public holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine inspections of common property
• Diagnose required works and carry out minor repairs
• Perform basic patching and painting tasks
• Conduct light gardening/grounds keeping when required
• Support and liaise with on-site contractors
• Operate and maintain basic on-site machinery and equipment
• Maintain high standards of care for building, gardens, grounds, and common areas
• Provide assistance during occasional after-hours emergencies
• Ensure safe workplace practices and compliance with Company OH&S policies
• Support emergency, fire, and evacuation procedures
• Complete basic administration tasks and data entry in property management software
• Always represent the Company in a professional manner

Selection Criteria

• Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in luxury accommodation or high-end residential environments
• Experience in plastering and painting repairs (preferred but not essential)
• Works at Height certification (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong experience in general maintenance tasks
• High attention to detail and professional presentation
• Positive attitude, with the ability to work independently
• Commitment to maintaining a world-class property standard
