Ennio International is a proudly South Australian, family-owned business specialising in the design and manufacture of nettings and casings for the global meat and poultry industry. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to support the reliability and performance of our machinery across two manufacturing sites.

About the Role

Reporting to the R&D Project Manager, this is a hands-on, trade-qualified role responsible for ensuring maximum plant reliability across two manufacturing sites. You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems, and lead equipment installations and commissioning. The role also requires maintaining technical documentation (BOMs, work instructions, and SOPs), coordinating contractor works, and effectively liaising with suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and pneumatic faults
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrade of plant and manufacturing equipment
  • Maintain and update BOMs, part listings, work instructions, and SOPs
  • Coordinate and support contractor activities to minimise downtime
  • Liaise with suppliers, service technicians, and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with WHS and quality requirements

About You

  • Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Fitter & Turner or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance
  • Strong mechanical and pneumatic fault-finding skills
  • Experience using lathes, mills, and welding (MIG/TIG/ARC) -desirable
  • Forklift and/or scissor lift licence
  • Experience in producing technical documentation (BOMs, SOPs, work instructions) an advantage
  • Able to prioritise, balance urgencies, and perform under pressure
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
