About the Role

You will have responsibility for fire systems across our current and new customer base.

This will involve:

  • Liaise with Chubb staff, customers and clients in regard to technical support and administration.
  • Mentor and assist other members of the team to facilitate client needs.
  • Ensure jobs are completed in a safe manner and all safety paperwork is done as required by technicians.
  • Coordination and facilitation of the day-to-day operation of the Team
  • Installation, Modification, Commissioning and repair of Fire Detection, Warning Systems, Smoke Alarms & Emergency / Exit lights 
  • Inspection and testing of fire systems in accordance with AS 1851
  • Assisting in growing our customer base by identifying and following up on opportunities
  • Customer liaison providing assistance where required
  • Provide recommendations to customers on fire protection systems and equipment

About You

  • Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)
  • Current Electrical Licence - mandatory
  • Current Driver's licence - mandatory
  • Current Cabling Licence – ideal
  • Electrical Trade Qualification – ideal
  • Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is advantageous.
  • Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
  • Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
  • Hardworking and reliable
  • Experience in a customer facing role.
