We are currently seeking amotivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an ApprenticeLandscape Gardener and embark on a rewarding journey in the world ofhorticulture. As anApprentice Landscape Gardener, you will have the opportunity to work alongsideexperienced horticulturists to develop your skills and gain practical knowledgein all aspects of garden maintenance. This entry -level position offers hands -ontraining and the chance to contribute to exciting projects in high endresidential settings. ​From PalmBeach to Vaucluse and everywhere in between, you will work and experience someof Sydney's finest gardens. ​Responsibilities:Assisting with the maintenance of landscapes, including planting, irrigation, and turf management.Learning and practicing proper pruning, trimming, and weeding techniques.Participating in soil preparation, composting, and fertilization activities.Contributing to the design and layout of outdoor spaces under the guidance of senior team members.Collaborating with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.Adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a safe working environment.Requirements Your attributes and requirements: Interest in plants and gardensCommitted to an apprenticeship (not just a job)Willingness to learnBe punctual and have a great work ethicBe well presented and physically fitEnjoy working as part of a teamCurrent drivers licence an advantage but not essentialMust have a sense of humourBenefits Working within a team that love what they do and have fun doing it. All their apprentices receive well above the award wage - $20 -$30 per hour. You will attend College of TAFE one day per week where you will study Certificate 3 in Horticulture Parks and Gardens. Immediate start for the right candidate.
