JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Combination (HC) / Multi Combination (MC) Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across [Specify Region or Australia-wide]. This role requires a high level of professionalism, adherence to road safety regulations, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

THE ROLE:

  • Operate HC/MC-class vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Transport goods and materials over long and short distances as required.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
  • Comply with all road transport laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Accurately complete logbooks and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Secure loads properly and ensure safe loading and unloading procedures.
  • Handle basic maintenance and report any vehicle defects or issues.
  • Sign On Glass, Proof Of Deliveries's and photos uploaded on our TMS software

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Heavy Combination (HC) / Multi Combination (MC) driver's license.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an H.C. or M.C. truck driver.
  • Good knowledge of Australian road laws and fatigue management regulations.
  • Good knowledge of Mass Management and Load Restraint guidelines.
  • Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A clean driving record and the ability to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screening.
  • Must have no driving offences recorded within the past 2 years or more.
  • Experience with refrigerated transport, bulk haulage, or dangerous goods (if applicable).
  • Sponsorship is available for candidates currently in Australia and can start immediately.
