About the Opportunity

At TerraCom, there is no finish line, just continuous progress.

We are seeking highly skilled Coal Handling and Process Plant (CHPP) Operator/Maintainer with trade qualifications in electrical/mechanical disciplines. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the CHPP and Bypass processing area in line with production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to CHPP Crew Coordinator, this position is based at our Blair Athol Mine site, and the role and responsibilities include:

• Operate and monitor preparation plant to optimise production and quality as directed by the CHPP Crew Coordinator
• Identify, report and act on all hazards whilst complying with the Health, Safety and Environment Management System
• Perform CHPP roving duties to monitor CHPP performance and adjustments as required
• Perform breakdown maintenance repairs as required
• Conduct Planned Maintenance and Operational inspections and services
• Maintain CHPP equipment as requested during scheduled maintenance periods
• Operate CHPP auxiliary equipment as required
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the CHPP

What You'll Bring to the Role

To be part of our ongoing success, we're looking for individuals who bring both capability and passion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Hold a recognised electrical or mechanical trade qualification.
• Have operations or maintenance experience in a processing plant (preferred).
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Be willing to work on a 24/7 rotating shift roster.
• Commit to safety and environmental standards without compromise.
• Exhibit sound judgement, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Be adaptable, flexible, and comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
• Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
• Possess instrumentation or PLC experience (highly regarded).
