Leigon Drilling is a specialist provider of environmental and geotechnical site investigation services. Our clients are a diverse range of government, mining and infrastructure organisations.

Legion are currently looking for a high performing individual to operate CPTu, DMT and Shear Vane equipment on Geotechnical investigations. Project locations will vary from busy CBD streets to remote locations only accessible by sea or air.

In addition to completing fieldwork you would assist the direct sensing manager with project reports and tender preparation.

At times you may assist other parts of the business including drilling operations and other direct sensing tools specifically for Environmental investigations such as the MiHPT and UVOST.

Desirable attributes:

  • Experience as a CPTu operator.
  • Experience as a geotechnical or environmental engineer.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • A passion for completing high quality work.
  • Physically fit and experience with long days.
  • Enjoy travel and accept flexibility with work rosters.
  • Ability maintain a positive attitude on challenging projects.
  • A love for technology and championing new technologies.
  • Enjoy working in small teams to overcome obstacles.
