We are seeking a seasoned
Staff Engineer
with deep expertise in
.NET Web API development
and
AWS cloud architecture
to lead backend engineering efforts for a major digital transformation program at a Big 4 bank. This role demands technical leadership, hands-on development, and strategic collaboration across cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs using
    .NET Core / .NET 6+
    .
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions leveraging
    AWS services
    (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
  • Drive engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to strategic engineering decisions.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years
    of experience in backend development with a focus on
    .NET Web API
    .
  • Proven expertise in
    AWS cloud architecture
    , including serverless and containerized deployments.
  • Strong command of
    C#
    ,
    ASP.NET Core
    ,
    Entity Framework
    , and
    RESTful API design
    .
  • Experience with
    CI/CD pipelines
    (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Solid understanding of
    OAuth2

  • Familiarity with
    SQL Server

    NoSQL databases
    (e.g., DynamoDB).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
