Perth, Western Australia Royal Fremantle Golf Club Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Established in 1905, Royal Fremantle is situated just a five-minute drive from the centre of Fremantle. Royal Fremantle Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course featuring kikuyu fairways and bent-grass greens making it an excellent course to play all year round.

RFGC has been a regular host on the WA Open host Club roster for some 20 years, and currently hosts the Player Series (PGA of Australia), in January of each year. Currently the club is undergoing course upgrades to greens and tees and has recently completed construction of a state of the art course maintenance facility.

RFGC is a busy members club with over 1300 members. Competition golf is played a minimum of 6 days a week at the Club. Annual rounds are over 60,000.

We are currently seeking a mower operator / greenkeeper to join the course maintenance team on initially a casual basis, but full time employment may be available for the right candidate. The applicant must be hard-working, enthusiastic and punctual. RFGC provides an environment where you will be able to strive for the best you can be. Previous experience on a golf course is preferred. The position is 25-35 hours Monday to Friday with additional rostered weekend overtime (penalty rates apply) available.

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience operating ride on maintenance equipment (mowers, bunker rake, runabout vehicles)
  • Eye for detail and pride in your work.
  • Ability to work unsupervised when required.
  • Be motivated and able to work in a positive team environment.
  • Availability to work rostered weekends (penalty rates apply).
  • Golf Course experience welcomed
  • A positive attitude and willingness to excel

Key tasks:

  • Golf Course Maintenance (mowing, bunker maintenance, general tidy up)
  • General gardening
